  • We suggest that you DO NOT teach on the dance floor unless asked.

  • We ask that you take care of your personal hygiene so others are comfortable.

  • If you sweat a bit extra, please bring extra shirts to change into.

  • Please wear shoes that are safe and appropriate for dancing (ask us).

  • We suggest that you rotate partners during each lesson for your benefit

  • Dance to your partners level, make your partner SUCCESSFUL!

Dance Floor Etiquette:

  • Watch out for others, be courteous to other dancers. Drive safe!

  • On any song there may be several different dances going on. Share the floor!

  • Progressive dances move counter clockwise around the floor in two lanes on the outside. Faster moving dancers in the outside lane.

  • West Coast Swing will slot with the grain of the wood floor.

  • Absolutely NO lifts, drops, etc. Keep one foot on the floor at all times.

  • Line dancers will go to the middle, or to the outside in a safe area.

  • Watch out for others at all times, as we have many NEW dancers learning the do’s and don’ts of dancing.

We can’t choose the music life gives us, but we can choose how to Dance to it!
